Juice Girl Mill Valley

Melora and Karen have built this successful business from the ground. Quality is their secret ingredient. True Mill Valley locals, they committed from the start to using locally sourced produce, goods, and services to create fresh, delicious and nutritious food for all. Across the road from the Tamalpais High School, teachers and students alike have found a second home in the inviting and comfortable environment of the cafe. The mission statement says it all:

We (the juice girls) want you to make you happy. We want you to love what you purchase and to enjoy the experience of being in our shop.

New Website for a Growing Business

Juice Girl Mill Valley was a healthy business when they reached out for a redesign. Juice Girl started as a service to provide fresh pressed organic fruit and vegetable juice blends. Today it has grown into a cafe serving a variety of smoothies, healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snack items. They also offer full catering.

Design and Development Services

First, they were ready for a more mature face that also reflected the in-store marketing material. They have an affection for minimalism but there were certain key items that could help unite the brick and mortar with the online cafe.  This was done with visual cues such as the font used in the menu and product pages and the color palette.

Next on the list of must-haves was a robust shopping cart. BigCommerce was chosen for ease of use and the ability to sync online payments with the Square Point-of-Purchase system used in-house.

The third item was that the entire menu would be available online. Much of the regular clientele have limited windows of time available and they wanted to support them in being able to enjoy that time in some other way than standing in line for service. After launch, Juice Girl MV established a relationship with a food delivery service. We updated the site to make the visitor aware and also have a direct access point to this service.

One more feature was added. To have fresh content available for visitors to the website we also incorporated an Instagram Feed in the footer area of the page. This gives them a way to share a bit more of their personality and is a direct line to let their followers know what is fresh on the menu on any given day.
