First, they were ready for a more mature face that also reflected the in-store marketing material. They have an affection for minimalism but there were certain key items that could help unite the brick and mortar with the online cafe. This was done with visual cues such as the font used in the menu and product pages and the color palette.
Next on the list of must-haves was a robust shopping cart. BigCommerce was chosen for ease of use and the ability to sync online payments with the Square Point-of-Purchase system used in-house.
The third item was that the entire menu would be available online. Much of the regular clientele have limited windows of time available and they wanted to support them in being able to enjoy that time in some other way than standing in line for service. After launch, Juice Girl MV established a relationship with a food delivery service. We updated the site to make the visitor aware and also have a direct access point to this service.
One more feature was added. To have fresh content available for visitors to the website we also incorporated an Instagram Feed in the footer area of the page. This gives them a way to share a bit more of their personality and is a direct line to let their followers know what is fresh on the menu on any given day.
